Founded in 2012, Ulun Carik Design Studio is a design consultant focusing on master planning, architecture, landscape design, artwork/sculpture design from small improvement to large-scale project, from private residential to commercial project.

We offer a broad range of master planning, architectural and landscape design. Specializing in contemporary tropical design with flexibility to expand our development with fully committed to design excellent.

Our services are a package from initial consultation, conceptual design, design development, working drawing to on-site supervision.

Wayan “Toker” Sujana

Principal

Wayan holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree and brings 20 years of design experience across Asia. As a Principal Designer, he leads design studies, conceptual master planning, graphic presentations, detailed design development, and project management. Grounded in a philosophy of reconnecting people with nature, his work emphasizes intentional, sustainable design. His diverse portfolio spans hospitality (hotels and resorts), residential, commercial, and mixed-use urban developments, with deep expertise in the Asian market.

Untoro Tanu Merto

Principal

Toro holds a Bachelor of Architecture (S1) degree and has cultivated extensive experience across Asia and China through his work with renowned firms such as Bensley Design Studios, Belt Collins, and Coppers Hill. As a Landscape Designer, he excels in both digital and manual illustration, blending technical precision with artistic sensibility.

Beyond design, Toro is an accomplished watercolour painting artist, with exhibitions spanning national and international stages. His dedication to art is evident in his disciplined practice—even during his tenure at Bensley Design Studios, he reserved time every Wednesday to paint, reflecting his unwavering passion for creative expression.
